In 2006, the Vietnam Association for Conservation of Natural Resources and Environment (VACNE) formed the Vietnam Clean Air Partnership (VCAP) to mobilize individuals and social organizations to participate in activities which improve air quality, protect public health, and promote the country’s sustainable development.
VCAP issues newsletters and works with CAI-Asia in implementing projects such as the Asia Clean Fuels and Vehicles Program, Clean Air and Blue Skies Exchange, and Knowledge Partnership for Measuring AP and GHG Emissions.
VCAP is CAI-Asia's Country Network in Vietnam which is part of the CAI-Asia Partnership. Cities, national government agencies, academic institutions, nongovernment organizations, private sector companies, and development agencies can apply for free membership to the CAI-Asia Partnership. The application form can be downloaded at http://cleanairinitiative.org/portal/members/partnership
