De la Salle University is an academic institution engaged in teaching, research and community service. The University has several departments that are engaged in air quality management activities. This includes the Chemical engineering department, Mechanical engineering department, Civil engineering department and the Physics department. In the case of the Chemical Engineering department, it has an Environmental engineering research laboratory that is engaged in research in partnership with other research institutes in the Asian Region. The department has been involved with the EANET project of the EMB and currently working with Japan and other countries on a JICA assisted AUNSEED net collaborative research. The Mechanical engineering department has been working with other asian partners through ASHRAE.
