Air Quality Monitoring & Emission Source Apportionment Studies

To create awareness in general public on the factors that influence the ambient air quality to minimanise if not totally eliminate misleading interpretations. The study aims at a more rational approach to air quality solution and to demonstrate a proactive approach to improve air quality including the following

• To measure baseline air pollutants and air toxic level at different parts of Delhi, Which includes “hot spots” on krebside as well
• To inventories the various air pollutants in Delhi
• To project emission inventories using mathematical models taking into account the vehicle population/industrial growth, improvements in vehicle technology, fuel quality changes and other activities having impact on ambient air quality thereof
• To conduct source apportionment studies of Respirable Particulate Matter (PM 10)
