City Baseline Survey for Climate Change Adaptation/Mitigation in Asia-Pacific

CAI-Asia is preparing a background document which will describe the current state of climate change related activities and urban infrastructure investments in Asian cities, and thus can serve as a basis for determining where demand for climate change related infrastructure project exists

The background document shouldanswer three questions:

  • Is climate change given priority in policies, plans and investments?
  • Where does the focus lie in relation to climate change mitigation and adaptation?
  • Are there already infrastructure investments made or planned in relation to climate change?

The objective of this assignment is to conduct a baseline survey, in how far cities in Asia-Pacific have prioritized climate change related, both adaptation and mitigation, urban infrastructure and investment activities.
